Hi, I’m Parker.

I grew up in a home where therapy wasn’t taboo—it was encouraged. Being honest, getting help, talking things out…none of it was foreign. That early exposure planted something in me, even if it took thirty years to recognize it.

As an adult, I chased stories for a living—first as a photographer, then as a journalist, then as a full-time wanderer with a camera and a notepad. I spent years sitting with people in kitchens, alleyways, back rooms, and borrowed chairs. I learned how to listen, really listen, until the surface fell away and the real story stepped forward. Curiosity became second nature; perspective became a practice.

Eventually, that pull toward people—their pain, humor, contradictions, and grit—became too strong to treat as a part of a greater whole; it became the ambition. I went back to school. I learned from mentors I’m endlessly grateful for. And Fox Hill Counseling was born out of all of it—the miles, the missteps, the hard lessons, and the moments of clarity that stick with you.

As a therapist, I work in a way that’s practical, grounded, and human. I’m not here to diagnose your existence away. We slow things down, look at what’s actually happening, identify the patterns, and figure out what you’re ready to shift. I work with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who they’re becoming—individuals and couples trying to navigate a world that keeps changing around them.

My approach is curiosity with structure. We look at where you’ve been, but we don’t drown in it. I pull from relational therapy, cognitive tools, somatic awareness, and the real-world experience that comes from years spent paying attention to people. My job is to see and support you as you move toward something steadier and more aligned.

I love this work and the privilege of being invited into your story—whether I’m there for a page or a series of chapters—is something I’m perpetually honored by.

For your first session, you don’t need to show up polished. You just need to show up willing.

If you’re still reading, I’m glad you’re here.

Thank you for looking into Fox Hill Counseling

My offerings, professional interests, and identity in the field of professional counseling:

Internal Family systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) views the mind as a collection of “parts,” each carrying its own emotions, roles, and intentions. Therapy helps you meet these parts with curiosity instead of judgment, allowing them to heal and integrate so you can access a calmer, more grounded core Self within you.

Logic-Based Counseling

Logic-based counseling blends clear thinking with practical philosophy. It strips away noise, helping you focus on facts, patterns, and what you can control. By integrating Stoic and modern philosophical tools, we slow things down, think cleanly, and make choices rooted in stability, integrity, and real-world action that support lasting growth.

Ecotherapy

Ecotherapy uses nature as an active part of the healing process. Time outdoors calms the nervous system, builds connection, and restores perspective. This can look like mindful hikes, beach walks, surfing, or other nature-based practices—all aimed at reducing stress, improving mood, and reconnecting you to something larger than daily life.

Parent Coaching

Parent coaching begins with one belief: you’re a good parent having a hard moment—not a bad parent making mistakes. We help you stay calm and grounded, set firm boundaries while staying connected, and move from chaos to clarity. Together, we build resilient strategies rooted in real life.

Executive Counseling

Executive coaching helps leaders clarify goals, strengthen decision-making, and navigate high-pressure environments with more confidence and clarity. Through honest conversation, practical strategy, and reflective work, coaching supports emotional intelligence, communication, and leadership presence—helping you grow in ways that impact your team, your organization, and your overall sense of purpose.

Counselor Supervision

Supervision is a steady, collaborative space to grow your clinical voice. We slow things down, think clearly about cases, and explore what’s happening in the room—both for your clients and for you. The goal is confidence, competence, and grounded professionalism, with support that’s practical, ethical, and rooted in real-world clinical work.

Men’s work

Men’s work starts with a simple truth: being a man in the 2020s is its own experience. In therapy, this means unpacking old expectations, questioning inherited roles, and reshaping masculinity through a healthier, post-patriarchal lens. Together, we build emotional depth, steadiness, and a clearer, more authentic sense of self.

Polarity Work

Polarity work starts with the truth that relationships thrive on the dance between difference—masculine and feminine energies, structure and flow, steadiness and expression. In therapy, we explore these dynamics with clarity and curiosity, helping you understand your patterns, reclaim your natural polarity, and build deeper connection, attraction, and harmony in your relationships.
